Lumen Psychology

Psychological therapy services by Dr. Ian Gill, Registered Clinical Psychologist

Meet Dr. Ian

Ian, the founder of Lumen Psychology, is a HCPC registered clinical psychologist, with over 13 years experience working in mental health settings. Since qualifying as a psychologist in 2012, he has specialised in working with adults, using evidence-based and effective treatments.

His work has included working in community and inpatient settings, as well as NHS and independent sectors. Within the NHS, he particularly specialised in working with people who have eating disorders, including being clinical lead for an NHS eating disorders service.  He has published research in areas including  trauma, and eating disorders.

After he qualified, he went on to do further specialist training, and qualified as a Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)  practitioner.

“With Lumen Psychology, I wanted people to be able to get effective and specialist treatment they need, when they need it. I wanted people to have a safe space to tell their story, explore what they’ve experienced, and have a path that leads to lasting change”.

(Ian, Founder of Lumen Psychology)

At Lumen Psychology, we aim to provide professional and effective psychological services.
We aim to provide a safe space, where people feel comfortable to explore what is going on for them, and what has led to them feeling this way.

We want people to be able to tell their story, learn more about themselves, and importantly, start to feel better.
